Publication Ethics
FEATURE follows the COPE Core Practices. All parties — authors, editors, reviewers and the publisher — agree to the following standards.
Duties of Authors
- Submit original work that has not been published or is under review elsewhere.
- Report data, code and experimental settings accurately; share them where possible to support reproducibility.
- Cite datasets, models and prior work properly; disclose use of generative AI tools in the methods section.
- Declare funding sources and any conflicts of interest.
Duties of Editors
- Evaluate manuscripts solely on scientific merit, relevance and clarity.
- Keep submissions confidential and manage conflicts of interest.
- Ensure a fair, timely double-blind review process.
Duties of Reviewers
- Provide objective, constructive and timely reviews.
- Keep manuscripts confidential and do not use unpublished content.
- Declare conflicts of interest and decline when not qualified.
Plagiarism & Misconduct
All submissions are checked for similarity before review. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 20% or evidence of data fabrication, image manipulation or duplicate publication will be rejected; published articles may be retracted.
